**THE BAND**
Lostprophets are a Welsh rock/emo band from Wales who formed back in 1997. After the release of this album, Liberation Transmission, the band hit mainstream success and have become very poular with countless supporters. Their music could be classed as emotional rock after this release as it is quite different to their previous style but is still good in my opinion, nothing will ever compare to 'Last Train Home' though! The current members of the band are: Ian Watkins (vocals), Lee Gaze (lead guitar), Mike Lewis (rhythm guitar), Stuart Richardson (bass guitar), and Jamie Oliver (synth, turntables and vocals). So far the band have released three studio albums:
Thefakesoundofprogress (2000)
Start Something (2004)
Liberation Transmission (2006)

**MY FAVOURITE TRACKS**
**1. Everyday Combat**
This song was a great opener for the album in my opinion. It starts off with drums then a muted riff on the guitar before Ian Watkins screams his way into the first verse, it's very attention grabbing. The other thing that I love about this track is how catchy the chorus and pre chorus is, it's brilliant. Oh and everyone has to love the epic guitar solo!! Apparently this song is about how a night out these days with alcohol could end in trouble and how things aren't fun like they used to be because everything is so dangerous. I'm not sure though. My favourite lyrics are: "Time's up, lets go, all that we know, release tension, you're my hero after dark, terror in the town high street". I would rate this song 8/10.
**10. For All These Times Son, For All These Times**
This song caught my attention firstly because of the opening guitar and the catchy verse and amazing chorus. Ian's vocals, as usual, are brilliant as is this song. To me, this song is about a relationship being over but him having no regrets-regrets about starting the relationship and ending it. My favourite lyrics from this track are: "Can you feel your heartbeat racing? Can you feel the tension rise? Can you see the road you're walking? Are these times to hard to rcognise?" I would rate this song 10/10.
**12. Always All Ways (Apologies, Glances And Messed Up Chances**
This is probably the quietest and slowest track on the album and definately my favourite. There are no heavy riffs or anything but the lyrics are great as are Ian's vocals. Again, I think that this song is about a relationship but this time it is about him really wanting his girl back and wishing he'd said and done all these things but now it's too late but he wants to wait. It's a really sweet song. My favourite lyrics from this track are: "I guess i'm trying to say i'm sorry but it always comes out wrong, I think a part of you still loves me even though we're moving on, always, all ways I wanted us to be, always, all ways you and me" Again, 10/10.
**MY OVERALL OPINION**
Fantastic album. There isn't one bad song on here. Even though the band went completely mainstream they didn't dissapoint their fans and haven't completely changed their style to fit in with demands in the industry, you can still tell that it is Lostprophets. As I said earlier, I dont think any song they ever make will compete with the likes of 'Last Train Home' or 'Last Summer' but some of these songs are definately close. I would recommend this album to everyone, actually, I would recommend buying all of their albums! 10/10 from me!
Summary: Lostprophets didn't dissapoint
