I have never bought any albums from the Eurthmics, or even either's solo albums as they never appealed. But.... I bought this as it seemed different from what they've done before, and alot of the stuff I heard sounded good. So, after my purchase I was pleasantly surprised to find that in fact the album is quite good. The typical Eurthmics sound of the 80s is not to be found here (which is a good thing), and the wussy solo Annie material is nowhere to be found either.... Peace has a great mix of poppy songs, with mellow relaxed tracks, all pleasing even the most difficult listener. The best songs are 17 Again, and I Saved The World Today as you might expect. ...

and brings back so many great memories for me. So if you are a fan of the Eurythmics , I would defiantly recommend that you purchase this album. Here are some other albums by the Eurythmics, that I would also recommend. 1) In the garden 1981. 2) Sweet dreams 1982. 3) Touch 1983. 4) Be your self tonight 1985. 5) Revenge 1986. 6) Savage 1987 7) We too are one 1989.
