ABBA Live - ABBA

ABBA live intrigued me. As a huge fan I was well aware that they were a 'studio' band. Much of their appeal came from complicated harmonies and multi-tracked arrangements which would be extremely difficult to re-create live. Having listened to this album though, it becomes apparent just how talented the band were. The music is spot-on, a tribute to both Benny and Bjorn. Listening to some of the arrangements is a revelation, played with such energy and completely faultless, even better in some case than the studio versions.
