There are a few live albums that are so different, so excellent that they live with you forever. In my book a live album has to capture the spirit of the band in concert. Many bands go to great effort to dub over the actual music to make it more commercial. This helps sell records, but often detracts from the value fo the product for die hard fans. Live Bootleg has no such dubbings. It is raw and gutsy, and at times sounds like it has been recorded with a cheap tape recorder. It is classic Aerosmith, warts and all.
