But then, both songs were written by male songwriters. There are no songs written by Lang herself on this album, although she later went on to produce excellent songs of her own on "Ingenue". It's good to hear lang singing with greats like Loretta Lynn, Brenda Lee and Kitty Wells on "Honky Tonk Angels' Medley" - they sing it like they are really having fun. Overall, I think this is one kd l ang's best albums - certainly her best 'country' album. ...
