This is a great live album, the sort that most bands would like to be able to put out: it contains well-known crowd pleasers, very few mistakes and no overdubs at all. The only slight problem is that the mix on the sound leaves a bit to be desired in the bass department. But a quick fiddle with the graphic equaliser more or less fixes that, so no harm done... If you don't have their other albums, and want an introduction to their music, this is as good...more |

The fact that the most recent album featured is "Seasons In The Abyss" isn't that important: you've still got classics like "Postmortem", "Black Magic", "Die By The Sword", "War Ensemble" and "South Of Heaven" to keep you going. This is a great live album, the sort that most bands would like to be able to put out: it contains well-known crowd pleasers, very few mistakes and no overdubs at all.
