After being a long time fan of Axl and the boys a new release even though it is old songs recorded at their many gigs is very welcome. The best of the best. My fave songs are on here and the crowd reaction to GnR is amazing. You can imagine that you are there, you can taste the atmosphere. A true fan will love this CD. Axl never failed to deliver and wow Slash well if half the new "boy" bands had half the talent that he has in his little finger well they would blow their socks off. Perhaps I am biased but I loved this. It has been £14.99 very well spent. Also the ilustrations of the flyers are brilliant. ... Read the complete review

For any serious guns fan this is a must buy. The album should not be called 87 - 93 live era but 87-93 the guns n roses era. At this time they were the biggest band in the world. The album has all the great songs on but the highlight for me has to be november rain. The live version captures brilliantly all the emotion and anger that the whole band put into there playing. This is heavy rock at its best and after hering it i doubt anyone will dispute that the guns are the best rock band of all time.BUY IT! ... Read the complete review

During the era this CD is taken from (1987-93), there was only one name in Heavy Rock, that of Guns N Roses. They conquered the world with their heavy rock music and bad boy attitude. When Guns 'N' Roses played live, you could be sure of a riot or some controversy surrounding every performance. But they were the 3rd biggest stadium rock acts of all time, and this album captures some of those great performances. Technically they are a very good live band, as Axl's hoarse machine gun-mouth vocals sound the same as they do on the albums, and slash's amazing guitar playing at least matches if not surpasses the solos on the albums. The album also seems to lean ... Read the complete review

If you like it loud n' heavy then this is a must have, for your collection. Guns and Roses were the ultimate rock band and truly lived up to there reputation of bad ass, don't mess with me mother *******. This collection of live hits spans the 6 years when they ruled the roost in club rock going onto there massive stadium rock shows, Each track jumps out at you with the attitude and aggression that was part of the gunners make up,all the classics are given there own slot including Patience, November Rain and Sweet Child Of Mine, everyone is a winner, with the majority pulled from Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusions 1&2, each of these ... Jeff's final musical journey of excellence
Some incomplete songs
Pentecost III - Anathema
Unparalleled gloom, and a long-awaited resurrection of these vital releases.
May lead to suicidal tendencies or manic depression. Okay for pregnant women though.
Organasm - Alchemist
Innovative Australian prog metal.
Disappointingly repetitive and American.
Live A L'olympia - Jeff Buckley
Vocals, Music, Brilliance, Lyrics, Raw Energy, Passion
Very little
If Emotions Still Burn - Ablaze My Sorrow
A pleasant surplus of lead guitar melodies balanced out with some angry death metal.
Overly repetitive, and too similar to Dark Tranquillity and others to truly stand out.
Goodbye And Hello - Tim Buckley
Vocals, lyrics, creativity, sounds
Tim's death
Feather And Stone - Tom Baxter
Vocals, music, lyrics
Rare, not to every ones taste, Perhaps a little too mellow, Matthew Jay's album is better
When The Kite String Pops - Acid Bath
Innovatively harsh-sounding, and effectively violent.
Too aggressive at cost to creativity, and not enough focus on pure doom metal.
