Resolve was the seventh full studio album from the American punk band lagwagon. It was also the first Lagwagon album not to feature the drummer Derrick Plourde who tragically committed suicide and the album was written and recorded after his death and released as a tribute to him. The first song off the album is pretty much the perfect punk skate song, its got everything really, its got incredible lyrics, its sung well its got great guitar and drums and it s a really fast paced song. Other than that its not that upbeat and perhaps that s because of what the lyrics are about but its still an incredible song. The third song off the album is one of my favourites, its ...

I consider this cd to be Lagwagon's 2nd best release to date. Hoss being my favourite. I first 'discovered' Lagwagon when a mate of mine brought in a promo tape of Hoss to school. I wasn't expecting much at the time because I was never a big Punk fan. Well that soon changed. I was totally hooked on this band, I loved Joey Cape's unique singing voice, and their sing along choruses. I loved the way the guitars mimicked the vocals and vice versa, most of all I liked the powerful hooks that they had, that I had yet to experience from any punk band before that. So excluding NOFX and Green Day; Lagwagon were the first American punk band that I was ...

good reason because Lagwagon display the fine points of SoCal Melodic Punk Rock. Into the first 4 tracks of the record you will know that the band have a great talent of keeping the listener entertained whether it be with a new direction in the song or just a quick quote stuck in the middle of the song. Tracks like ...

10CC - need I say more? No way!

Classic Rock - 2002

Classic Rock - 1988

A lot of excellent songs, lots of variation between tracks, Exogenesis Symphony is outstanding. A couple of songs feel like filler material, and Matt Bellamy's voice can get a little annoying.

Couple of good songs A lot of average songs

Quebec - Ween
Listen to it to hear the fun! Like all CDs, it ends!

Red Album - Baroness
An intelligent, well written and executed modern metal release. The majority of songs are merely great rather than outstanding.

Relentless Recurrence - ChthoniC
Pleasant and considerate melodic black metal. Lack of cultural identity.

Revolution - Crematory
Continuing to evolve. Electronic elements are occasionally too much.

Robot Hive/exodus - Clutch
Riff-laden blues rock at its finest. Not quite as good as 2004's 'Blast Tyrant'.

Room For Abuse - Spunge
An excellent album of ska punk, fantastically fun to listen to. If you don't like ska punk you'll hate this.

Salvation - Cult Of Luna
Goth - 2004

Sam Sparro - Sam Sparro
Current single Black and Gold Its cold and repetetive

Culture Shift - Uriel
lovely mixture of instruments and sounds not for everyone
