There are tons upon tons of Elvis CD`s available these days and it seems like the great man sells more than other artists despite sadly no longer being with us. I have dozens of Elvis CD`s but some of my favourites are the rare ones and special recordings that offer something a bit different. This live in L.A. CD is a special release and it features a selection of tracks performed live by the king in a concert in Los Angeles way back in 1974. LIVE IN L.A. is a special release from the Elvis Presley specialist record label FTD. It features a CD with Elvis' performance in Los Angeles on 11 May 1974, supplemented with a couple of tracks from 10 May in San Bernadino, along with a book with a wide variety of photographs from his Los Angeles performances. The music is excellent with some fantastic performances including rocking versions of SUSPICIOUS MINDS and STEAM ROLLER BLUES along of course with classic tracks such as LOVE ME TENDER and HOUND DOG.
