Long lonely highway is yet another brilliant release from the Elvis specialist record label FTD. FTD has this time focused their attentions to Elvis`s recording sessions from Nashville between 1960 and 1968, this throws up some of the best Elvis tracks ever recorded and FTD of course give their very own overdubbed take on them. LONG LONELY HIGHWAY is another fantastic release from the Elvis Presley specialist record label FTD. This time the label showcase alternate takes from Elvis' recording sessions in Nashville between 1960 and 1968. This is a period for which Elvis is primarily known for his increasingly silly movies, with a lot of insipid music recorded for them. However what this CD proves is that in amongst this period Elvis also recorded some classic music, with a great deal of quality.
