Advantages: happy, catchy, easy to listen to

Disadvantages: not their best album

I love this album. To be perfectly honest, I love everything and anything related to this band.

This album is an excellent example of Californian punk at its best. It's full of catchy, amusing lyrics and great melodies. It's easy to listen to, and very funny and happy.

I own 2 other vandals albums, and have heard a large amount of their other work.
This latest album is generally less heavy than the previous ones, and has more of a 'pop' element to it.

Overall, this album is easy to listen to, and very enjoyable. However, I wouldn't reccomend it as their best - if you want to buy a Vandals album, I'd advise getting 'Hitler Bad, Vandals Good'. It's much better!

The album opens very well, with a track entitled 'Behind The Music', which like the title suggests is about the music industry and the making of the album. It contains the usual punk pop that you'd expect if you'd previously heard this band - this style is continued throughout the whole album.

The second track is called 'Sorry Mom And Dad', and it's one of my favourites from this album. It's very catchy, and is a very happy, jumpy, summery type song, which can be left on repeat for a good few hours.

The next track, 'Go', is a track that i feel lets the album down. It's not as catchy or amusing as the rest of the record, and really sticks out.

The sixth track, 'Jackass', was the first single to be released. It was co-written by Dexter Holland from The Offspring, and also features him on backing vocals. For some reason, this song reminds me of 'All The Small Things' by Blink 182...

The happy, chirpy punk-pop continues until the end of the album.

'San Berdu' is another excellent track. It has a melodic chorus, and it gentler compared to some of the other tracks. 'Fourteen' also shares these qualities, making it an equal
ly good song to round off the album.
