The description wasn't far off being right though, the comment was made some time before James Blunt existed, so it surely wouldn't make the worst 10 now, it is pretty bad though. I can't put my finger on what exactly is wrong, the few times that Screaming Lord Sutch gets the vocals right, the band seem to be doing something completely different, it's badly produced and badly arranged and the most memorable part is a guitar solo by Jeff Beck on...more

Being a big fan of early innovative work of Lord Sutch & The Savages when Ritchie Blackmore acts as guitarist for the band and each song is a rockabilly monster fun track, I thought I'd check out Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends, a later album featuring various artists including Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Noel Redding labelled the worst album in the world. Released in 1970, everyone who threw it away will be annoyed now as it's gone up in value no end. One of the best of its kind None really

A pleasant album to listen to Not as musical or lyrically threatening

Some great pop moments A couple of weak tracks

Good uptempo pop numbers, often with attitude Some of the slower songs are a bit weak

Werk 80 Vol.1 - Atrocity
Industrial style adapts well to the eighties electro pop originals. Rather pointless.

Old Times - Azuth
A promising start to another solo project. And it's free. Low quality production, and relies too greatly on its influences.

Painfull Love - Atrophia Red Sun
Strong first release, and a very different sound from the band's later works. Derivative of the Katatonia sound, and lacks variety in the second half.

The Hits: Parental Advisory - Kelis
R&B & Soul - Soul - 2008

The Eat Up - Skrein
Superb production, great raps, great album. None for me.

Story: 10th Anniversary - Amorphis
Lots of good songs from four albums, displaying the band's variety and skill. Nothing from 'Privilege of Evil,' and some of the choices are a bit strange.

Those Whose Past Is Immortal - Astrofaes
Sophisticated black metal incorporating the best elements from various off-shoots. Really bad production.
