Advantages: a few great songs
Disadvantages: not all great
Losing streak was the second studio album from the ska punk band Less Than Jake. I didn't get this album until hearing their third album so I wasn't expecting it to be quite as good as the third, and to be honest it wasn't quite but I was still more than happy with how good this album was.
The first song off this album is automatic. It starts with just guitar and at first listening I thought it was going to be a really punk song, however I was totally wrong as the trumpets kick in and it turns into a fantastic ska song, with Chris singing his voice sounds really young in this album and its good to hear how he's changed over time
Just like Frank is track number 11 off the album and its such a great punk song, its one of those that you just want to sing along to and the chorus is so catchy. Its not my favourite song off the album but it is good, the only thing I could criticise is that it doesn't seem totally planned out properly and some parts of the song just don't seem to fit together quite as well as they could have done.
Jen doesn't like me anymore has got to be my favourite song off the album, perhaps its not meant to be a really up beat song however it really is, and I just love Roger singing along in the background of the chorus, it sounds really good. This is just a really catchy song, the lyrics arnt as good as some of their later stuff but its still a great song.

This was Less Than Jakes second album and while it isn't quite as good as their later albums there are still some really great songs on here, but its good to hear how much better than this they have gotten over the years too.
Summary: a good album but not as good as their later stuff
