harmonica playing. Other than this, you ll hear a bit of Wild West honky tonk pianism and some pretty mournful vocal harmonies. The blues is represented in its Various guises on here, for instance Charley Patton s 34 Blues , Blind Lemon Jefferson s Black Snake Moan and Robert Johnson s Come On In My Kitchen have that chain gang droning howl about them, whereas Blind Boy Fuller provides us with some captivating ragtime blues in Rag Mama Rag , Get Your Yas Yas Out , and Sweet Honey Hole . first track by the comically named Los Dug Dugs- strong vocals are present (incidentally the first track is actually one of my favourites) Generally speaking the tracks are fast and brash, some of them have a slower build up but there s only one or two tracks that would pass for progressive rock, the majority of this is good upbeat fun music and is a must buy for anyone who enjoys any of the Various psychedelic nuggets compilations that have been going around in the last couple of ...
