Advantages: Lots of Catchy Tracks

The dream returns here for his follow up to the commercially successful debut album Love Hate. The Dream is undoubtedly one of the most talented producers out there, and he wrote tracks like Rihanna's umbrella in minutes. I wouldnt be suprised if he created this latest album in like a day or so. This is natural though, as none of the music will be lasting, but its all catchy stuff. What I mean by this, is that the lyrics are very addictive, however years from now you won't still be listening to this album, in the same way that Michael Jackson's music has gone down as the stuff of legend.

Considering I am a big fan of the Dream's it is only recently I got this album, so was eagerly awaiting playing all the new tracks. The style of the music hasnt changed at all from Love Hate. If you loved that album, then of course check this one out, and I would also say if you like Neyo's music then the Dream's should also definitely be checked out.

The main commercial tracks so far have been Rockin That Sh** and Walkin On The Moon which features Kanye West. The Kanye West track I do favour a lot more out of the two just as it is a cooler song, with cooler lyrics.

Other highlights include Maria Carey featuring plus Take U Home 2 My Mama and there are also a couple of other tracks here that were also on Love Hate. What I would say however is that whilst Love Hate was a type of new music for me, there is nothing new here, and it is almost just like a bonus CD for Love Hate. In that sense I can't give this album a particularly high rating, but a positive I can say is that this does contain a few more tracks than Love Hate, which can only be a good thing.

He does have a third album coming out in a short few months time called Love King, which I would be anticipating, however I fear that it is just going to be more of the same for the Dream and he needs to change quick, before being typecasting as making the same old music over and over, even if it is only making small variations that someone like Timbaland does. Still like I mentioned above if you are a Dream fan then definitely check this out, but don't go expecting too much.

P.S Slightly late but congrats to The Dream for marrying the stunning Christina Milian and their baby on the way.
