Advantages: , a good all rounder. A lil mix of everything to make this album timeless....
Disadvantages: , None, this album is sure to get you smiling!
You know that Lucy Pearl is going to be that little bit more special then other albums due to the sheer amount of talent in the group. Lucy Pearl is made up of Dawn Robinson (lead vocalist) who is an ex member of en vogue, Ali Shaheed Muhammad (from a tribe called quest) and Raphael Saadiq (from tony toni tone) With all of these gifthed individuals working together, you know that this album is going to be special. Lucy pearl is an amazing album. I feel that any album with a mix of beats and vibes makes it more interesting and worth listening too, and this album has just that. With a mix of funk, r&b, and a little bit of hip hop and rock, this album is sure to suit most peoples tastes in music. I first got into Lucy Pearl when i heard 'Dance tonight' (no.3 on the album). It just makes you wanna move to the beats, as it has a funky twist on it which is really unique. Lucy Pearl was also featured in the MTV movie 'Save the last dance', and their song is also amazing in this film. It is featured in a r&B club, so you know that this is gonna be one to get your booty shakin and movin on the dance floor! This album is all about the vibes, which are all good on this album. It makes you feel good about yourself, and i can guarentee that this album will put you in a good mood! Once you hear the amazing beats, you wont wanna take it out of your cd playa! Definately one of the best albums of the last few years, without a doubt....
