Advantages: Its amazing, Most beautiful and fantastic album around at the moment

I was lucky enough to recieve the album Lungs as a perfect gift from my partner who knew how much i loved Florence and The Machine. The band is made up of Florence Welch who is the lead singer and The Machine, Robert Ackroyd (guitar), Christopher Lloyd Hayden (drums), Isabella Summers (keyboards) and Tom Monger (harp). Their debut album Lungs was released on 6th July 2009 after Florence and the machine had been around for a few years. The album got to number 2 in the charts after being held off the number one spot by michael jackson. They are a hit on the festival scene and im sure they are amazing live although unfortunatly have not got to experience this myself. Ive been hooked on this album since my first listen, It features hit singles including Kiss with a fist, Dog days are over, Rabbit heart (raise it up) and the new single Drumming song. All of which are brilliant songs. Every song on the album is perfect. Florence has the most beautiful unique voice and sings with such emotion, sounds like she is singing from her soul! She is so different from alot of the other artist around at the moment. I could listen to her all day. Such a fantastic album, cant say enough good stuff about it. Not sure how much this album cost as like i said it was a gift, im sure it wouldnt be much though depending where you buy it, maybe £8-£10, worth every penny. You wont be disappointed with this album, if you enoyed the singles you'll love the album. Fingers crossed Lungs wins the Mercury music award it has been nominated for.

Summary: If you loved the singles buy the album, you wont regret it! Perfect in every way.
