Advantages: That the Album was even made

Disadvantages: Not all the song are well known

Made in heaven is the last album by Queen. The album was released in 1995, 4 years after the sad passing of the bands front man Freddie Mercury. Before his passing, Freddie laid down several hours of vocals for the band to use in a fine album, stating "Get me to sing anything, write me anything and I will sing it and I will leave you as much as I possibly can Use this how you will". The album was finished of by the remaining band members adding extra lyrics and instrumentation at their recording studio in Montreux, Switzerland.

The album shot to No1 around the globe when it was released in November 1995 going 4x Platinum in the UK.

The album cover has a picture of the statue of Freddie that has been placed in Montreux by the sea.

The album like Innuendo is very emosinal as you know the vocals were sung by a dying man. The vocals however are as strong and crisp as always, dispite the illness Freddie was facing.

Some of the songs on the album we originally on Freddies solo album Mr Bad Guy. These were reworked by the band an included on this album. Tracks are I We Born To Love You & Made In Heaven

The Albums tracks are all winners in my opinion even the very last song which is a massive 22:32 Minutes long. This "Untitled" Hidden Track is a relaxing colaboration of music, Vocals and sounds. Strange but nice.

Mother Love and Made in heaven are my favourts of this Album. They really show the Band for what they were. A bunch of Best friends that love music and can really rock.

This is a beautiful album and I am so glad Freddie was able to lay down some vocals to make it. It is a CD to remember the greatest frontman of all time by. Please go out and get this album is you are concidering it. You will not be disapointed.

Summary: Very sad album but a must have
