Made in heaven is the last album by Queen. The album was released in 1995, 4 years after the sad passing of the bands front man Freddie Mercury. Before his passing, Freddie laid down several hours of vocals for the band to use in a fine album, stating "Get me to sing anything, write me anything and I will sing it and I will leave you as much ... Some of the songs here are possibly not as well known to many people, but there are some real gems on this album which was Queen's fifteenth and went on to go quadruple platinum in the UK. The album was released in 1995 four years after the death of lead singer Freddie Mercury, and much of the album was pieced together by the rest of ... Read the complete review

This album appeared late in 1995 almost 4 years to the day after the death of Freddie Mercury. At first glance it soon becomes apparent that this album can be split quite neatly into two sections, new Queen tracks and re-workings of old material. The reasons for this are clear, having released both 'The Miracle' and ... Read the complete review

Made In Heaven is a brilliant album. It is slow and meaningful, there is not a lot of the usual Queen rock. Neverless, it is fitting as a celebration of Freddie and his life. It is very emotional and sad yet each song is individual and brilliant in its own way. Freddie wrote this just before he died, he kept his illness a secret from ... Read the complete review

This album was completed by the three remaining members of Queen following Freddie Mercury's sad departure in 1991 and is a fine tribute to possibly the best male vocalist ever. Perhaps his lack of input at the production stage explains why this is very different to other Queen albums of the late 80's and early 90's. It is much ... Read the complete review

This is one of the best Queen albums ever..... The fact that it was released 4 years after the death of Freddie Mercury and when listening to the tracks and knowing that he recorded the tracks under a sentence of death makes it even more remarkable. Each track is sung from the heart and performed as if each was his swansong. One ... Read the complete review

Although it was released in 1995, I have only recently purchased this album, and it is one of my all time favourite albums. It is a very moving tribute to Freddie Mercury, who died of aids in 1991. It contains some of Queens finest music so far, and Brian May's amazing talent shines through the whole album. His writing and playing skills ... Read the complete review

Queen's Made in Heaven is a haunted album. Listening to a singer you know died before most of the songs on the album were complete, and who knew that would happen is a spooky experience. Even the album cover, with Freddy outlined against the Swiss sky on the front, and the rest of the band on the back speaks of imminent seperation. The music ... Read the complete review
