This is the exellent follow up to the nearly-as-brilliant debut album from Trail of Dead. Nearly as good as the live experience they provide, this album provides moving lyrics with beautiful harmonies and powerful choruses. From the opening track 'And You will Know Them By The Trail Of Dead' you can really tell that the first listen is going to be an extra special experience. The true emotion behing the lyrics of 'Mistakes and Regrets' makes you think back to anyone who ever left you and makes you want to scream this down the phone to them, but obviously you're not bitter. The way the songs merge into each other with beautiful interludes shows how well produced this album is and how much blood, sweat and tears went into it. Don't be put off by the name, they aren't as scarey as you might think.
