 ... 'Make Believe,' it was very straightforward to gain the best of both worlds. The song is grounded in a memorable and pretty piano melody with André Matos singing over the top in an androgynous falsetto that becomes a little more forceful in the chorus, accompanied by Angra's customary sweeping orchestration and minimal use of the rock instruments here, and all of this makes for a nice song that can easily be sold to a minority of people, aided by a weird music video featuring a wrinkly old get being pampered and dev...more

Angra's progressive albums have always featured a strong ballad element, making many of their songs suitable for commercial release as independent singles without the need to contrive a shameful and uncharacteristic power ballad to appeal to non-metal fans. The main problem lies in this band's tendency to go overboard in all songs and extend them with instrumental sections and grand symphonic arrangements to what casual listeners would likely deem an unnecessary extent.
