Mamma Mia! - Soundtrack

I'm a massive fan of all things Abba and I absolutely adored the Mamma Mia movie back in the summer, so I was overjoyed at Christmas when I recieved not just the DVD but also a copy of the soundtrack on CD. The soundtrack contains 17 of the songs from the movie. I'll talk you through all of them. 1. Honey, Honey- This song isn't one of Abba's best known hits, and I never particuarly liked it that much as an Abba song, but I actually really enjoy the version that's in Mamma Mia!. I've just had one of those special days that seem to come round regularly once a year and my two young daughters (with a little help from their daddy!) decided to buy me the Mamma Mia movie soundtrack CD. I secretly suspect that they really wanted it for themselves and this was just a good way of getting it! This was an excellent present for me though as, having recently watched and absolutely loved the film, I have found myself singing all the songs around the house. Last year, my wife and I watched Mamma Mia! the movie, and were thoroughly impressed by the amount of fun that exuded from the film. Never really having a particular fan of ABBA's music, I was nonetheless aware of their music and the impact it had on a generation in its peak, and felt that the music that accompanied the film was astounding. I loved Mamma Mia! the movie, the singing in the film wasn't the best quality but it didn't matter as the atmosphere and story more than made up for any vocal weaknesses. After going to the cinema to see this film, i took my nan as she was really looking forward to seeing it, I thought the film was good but i must say that i did not think it deserved all the hype that it got and Pierce Brosnan's singing was something that i would never want to hear again.
