Advantages: great tunes, Mark and Tom's humor

Disadvantages: not what Blink sounds like live, not for kids

This is suppose to be a live album of Blink, however when you listen to it, you realize that it is a studio version of a live Blink concert. Everything has been redone to make them sound more like they do on their albums than what they actually sound like live.

If you ever have seen Blink 182 live, you know they suck. Tom sings way off key and very loudly, Mark - well he sings half way decent. You can't even hear Tom singing background vocals in any of the songs on this album, and if you can faintly make him out, they raise the background music higher and make his voice very soft.

The reason kids keep going to their shows though is because they are hysterical. The way they talk to the crowd and eachother through out the show IS the show. And it comes through on the album. You get a great 10-15 minute comedy session at the end of the CD.

The humor in the album is great, of course. Be forwarned, if you do not like potty humor, this album is not for you! I would not recommend this for any younger kiddies out there either. Many jokes regarding Satan, incest/sex/masterbation and of course, bathroom jokes.

The music on the album is good though. This album is a great collection of songs from all of their albums that have been released to date, with the addition of "Man Overboard".

"Man Overboard" is a catchy song. I like the music of it, but the words are sometimes kind of silly. I do like the fact that Tom and Mark take turns singing - more like their old "pre-MTV" days.

All in all, I like the album. It is NO WAY a real interpretation of what they sound like live. If you want to hear a great bunch of songs though, it is a good album to grab (if you still can - limited selling time suppose to have ended back in February).

Good opinion but more information on the songs themselves would be useful.
