Everything which you had in the two prior to it seems to be continued straight through onto this as they appear to blend the sounds of those to come through with a fusion of all the most popular styles for all markets in the music industry of the time. I have to say that the results of it were successful, and this was a bit of a surprise for me, but you quickly get into it.

Taking their name from a 1970s Rick James hit, the R&B four-piece, The Mary Jane Girls released their self-entitled debut in 1983. Members: Candi, JoJo, Cherri and Maxi made it big with several hits of this album, and it made the LA-raised, Motown signees shoot to fame at the time. 1. "Candy Man" The album begins with one of their up-tempo singles from this. It has them turn to the Synth-Pop sounds which was just emerging at the time, and it enables then to drill out a groovy jam which anyone is able to get into,.
