One weird feature of this album that I'm almost insulted by is singer Peter Murphy's pretence of being a cockney, "masking" his Midlands dialect even in the spoken word of 'Of Lillies and Remains' before that song too morphs into the same sound as all the others. Further disappointment lies in just how easily the album can be divided into two generic styles with littl...more

Builds on the style of the debut, and indulges in successful experiments. Some songs are a little weak, or rely too much on volume gimmicks, and lack structure.

Punk Sensibilities, Good Humour, Catchy Melodies None

A slightly different take on some songs. A bit cheeky to sell it as an independent album, considering it was originally a bonus LP.

Blink-182 at their best - accessible, yet punk at the same time with classics such as "Emo" and "Dammit" included. Hmm....

Some more material that may never have happened. A disappointing swan song.
