A slight disappointment after the strength of the previous album, 'Mata Leao' sees Biohazard momentarily lose the knack of combining hardcore punk and hip hop elements together successfully, as the songs on here tend to favour one style over the other in turn. Making up for this is an interesting change of focus towards shorter and even more aggressive material, with many of the punk songs clocking in at under two minutes without running out of steam and throwing in a slower section just for the sake of it, as has been the case on previous albums, though the longer songs make up for this by featuring slower sections that are alternately mellow and heavy.
