When people disuss Smiths albums, I feel that this album gets unfairly looked over. It is one of best albums of the 80's. It is the most "indie" album the band ever released. It doesn't have the "popiness" of songs like "This Charming Man" and does take a while to grow on you.

Morriessys lyrics are top rate, and Marr's musical talents knows no bounds. This album on some editions also contains many people favourite track "How soon is now"

For thoses who think that The Smiths were are boring depressive band should look at song like "Nowhere Fast" and "What She Said" and realise the humor and sarcasim that Morriessy has in alot of his lyrics.

All in all, a great album.
