This collection, although not as good as the full release albums, uses the variety of songs to good effect, from covers such as The Police's 'Every Breath You Take' to Dolly Parton and The Descendents. The mystical start of 'In A Room' moves gently into a sudden fast-paced, ska-guitar sound that explodes with energy. A strong follow-up to Disintegration. Shows all the different sides of The Cure. It's the follow-up to Disintegration, a very hard act to follow. Wendy Time isn't all that great.

Songs, Atmosphere Brooding

Dark but gentle sound The odd poor track

No real weak tracks, some fantastic guitar pop rock, Buck Rogers Not going to change your life

Haunting, emotional and involving, Some classic songs, Skilled instrumentation Not enough varietyMany songs drag on for too longSome songs are very dull

Star Trek: Nemesis - Jerry Goldsmith - Soundtrack
Darkly rich music from beginning to end Only problem is the score has very little to say

Rape Of The Bastard Nazerene - Akercocke
Some nice, raw, devilish metal from posh Londoners. Interludes are far too frequent, far too tedious and far too terrible.

Our Love To Admire - Interpol
Good mixed tempos and rifts run out of idea towards and of album

Open Fire - Alabama Thunderpussy
Good incorporation of classic metal style, with great guitars and improved vocals. Too content to be nothing new.

Mantaray - Siouxsie
A diversely different album which provides great listening pleasure Must be listened to in its entirety to be fully appreciated

Kalmanto - Ajattara
Lyrics in Finnish, for natives who hate English. Dull and ineffective.

Bitchin' - Donnas
80s influenced and anthemic, girls are doing what they want, great for a sing a long few weak links, wouldn't have minded maintaining the escapism in regards to feelings, etc.
