This is a great album. The humour running throughout is indicative of Beck - he just doesn't seem to give a damn about musical values, he just wants to make some noise. This is my favourite Beck album. It sounds like it's been put together randomly from samples and song-segments. The lyrics are equally messy, really bringing out the old Beck, before the professionalism that Odelay! made obvious.
