I'm not sure about the rest of Donavons stuff, but the song Mellow Yellow, it really cool, it was featured in a Gap advert and that made it even more famous, but it really is a great song, the opening bars are simple and genius. You instantly know what the song is before he's started singing. A masterstroke of song writing. They don't make them like they used to! If the song hadn't been used in the advert then it probably wouldn't be that well known but because it has then a lot of people know about it. The lyrics are very basic which means that it is easy to learn and a great kareoke or party song and everyone knows at least the chorus.
