Well this album is AMAZING!! ..and a album to have for christmas..for a gospelling feeling! O'holy night..has mariahs octaves to the full and is such a great song! Then was have Mariahs very own "all i want for christmas is you" and a song written by mariah which is slow and festive..called "miss u most....at christmas time"! Mariah fans ..if you dont have it ...put it as the item to have for xmas 2001!! The UK version of this album had an additional track "god rest ye merry gentleman" which is a great track too. Everyone, really should buy this. Most of the music is obviously known, and Mariah's got one of the best voices out there, and she sings and produces these songs beautifully, should be in everyone's collection. Everyone wants to listen to some traditional music at Christmas and Mariah's renditions are un-tacky on whole and in my opinion better than originals. She transforms some of the tracks so we can enjoy them on new levels, "Joy To The World" becomes an upbeat fast fun track with punching vocals. Silent Night stays traditional, simple and beautiful.
