Linkin Park is a Californian nu-metal band mixing harmonic and scream vocals with emcee rapping. Their first album, 'Hybrid Theory', is critically and commercially acclaimed, and is full of raw talent and passionate music. They have since developed their style, with each element improving with experience. As a band, they have sold more than 50 million albums. 'Meteora' is the band's third album second album, released in 2003. It contains the smash hit 'Numb', which was used as the them tune to the film 'Starsky and Hutch' starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell. This track was also remixed with Jay-Z for their collaboration album in 2004. It also features the ... Read the complete review

This album is Linkin Park's second studio album, first released on March 25th 2003, making it pretty old. However, this album features some of my favourite songs as well as the one and only 'Numb'. This album is classed under metal music in the following categories: nu, rap, and alternative. This album has sold more than 50 million times worldwide. The total length for this CD is 36:43, providing you with a numbing duration of music! All their songs are pretty short, between 2:30 and 3:30 long each. Their music is pretty heavy with loud instruments accompanying the brilliant lyrics. The thing I like about Linkin Park is the way they seem to sing about things I ... Read the complete review

What has happened to Linkin Park. I don't know if it just me, but what the hell happened to the rock and metal excellence that was Linkin Park. Now it may be a bit extreme to compare them to Boyzone, but they seem to be heading there. This album is one of their earlier ones, and personally it is one of my favourites... of all time. Its pure class, five stars. The difference between this album and Linkin Parks latest one is vast. There seems to be no hardcore rock on the new one. Hybrid theory is similar to this one in terms of the type of music: metal and rock, but I would class the new one as more 'pop'. When you mention Linkin Park to me, I think of some ... Meteora is a very strange name for an album and i do wonder why they called it that! I first came across meteora when one of my friends was listening to it on her portable CD-Player of which she let me listen to the album and wondered whether it was them or not and it was. I had heard of linkin park from a few previous songs on their last album but wasn't that keen to learn of them until i heard their second album. After a year of their second album being released i realised that they have brought out a few songs from that album of which their most recent is 'Breaking the Habit' (track 9). Linkin park have been around for a fair while now and i can ... Read the complete review

Linkin Park are a group which always get a reaction from people, and that is that they either love them or hate them, there is rarely a middle ground. They have been slated by a lot of the media, and the most laughable criticism is that they are a manufactured boy band!!!! This is their second album, and it has been eagerly awaited, as their debut album 'Hybrid Theory' took the music world by storm, selling nearly 8 million copies, and they rode their success just long enough to stop people being bored with them, and the gap between the two albums have left many salivating at the thought of what was to come. There is no major difference in style, only an ... Read the complete review
