Linkin Park is a Californian nu-metal band mixing harmonic and scream vocals with emcee rapping. Their first album, 'Hybrid Theory', is critically and commercially acclaimed, and is full of raw talent and passionate music. They have since developed their style, with each element improving with experience. As a band, they have sold more than 50 million albums. 'Meteora' is the band's third album second album, released in 2003. It contains the smash hit 'Numb', which was used as the them tune to the film 'Starsky and Hutch' starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell. This track was also remixed with Jay-Z for their collaboration album in 2004. It also features the ...

This album is Linkin Park's second studio album, first released on March 25th 2003, making it pretty old. However, this album features some of my favourite songs as well as the one and only 'Numb'. This album is classed under metal music in the following categories: nu, rap, and alternative. This album has sold more than 50 million times worldwide. The total length for this CD is 36:43, providing you with a numbing duration of music! All their songs are pretty short, between 2:30 and 3:30 long each. Their music is pretty heavy with loud instruments accompanying the brilliant lyrics. The thing I like about Linkin Park is the way they seem to sing about things I ...

What has happened to Linkin Park. I don't know if it just me, but what the hell happened to the rock and metal excellence that was Linkin Park. Now it may be a bit extreme to compare them to Boyzone, but they seem to be heading there. This album is one of their earlier ones, and personally it is one of my favourites... of all time. Its pure class, five stars. The difference between this album and Linkin Parks latest one is vast. There seems to be no hardcore rock on the new one. Hybrid theory is similar to this one in terms of the type of music: metal and rock, but I would class the new one as more 'pop'. When you mention Linkin Park to me, I think of some ...

The Godfather II - Soundtrack
The most varied use of Godfather themes in a nice colourful package
Sound quality still needs work and a few source songs should be excised.
Unspoken Dialect - Hondo MacLean
Fantastic mix of Metalcore and Post-Hardcore.
May be a little too heavy for some.
Terminal Spirit Disease - At The Gates
Refines the grasp of structure that was absent in the previous release.
Relative lack of material, and an arguably disappointing new direction.
Slip It In - Black Flag
More talented playing from Greg Ginn, and a more consistent album from the band.
Not as experimental or ground-breaking as previous works.
Reaching To The Converted: Minding The Gaps - Billy Bragg
Folk - English Folk - 2000
Nordland Vol.1 - Bathory
Excellent return to the Viking metal style, sorting out some of its inherent problems.
Songs tend to over-run, and heavier songs seem rather impersonal.
Got The Thirst - King Prawn
An extremely strong album which blends brilliantly a number of different genres of music.
King Prawn is no more.
Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
The really good songs are really good
Couple of weak links
Cold Roses - Ryan Adams & The Cardinals
Country - Alt. Country - 2005
Past Masters Vol.2 - The Beatles
Some fantastic singles, album fillers and B - sides
A few naff tracks and many that you will certainly already own
