Mind Tricks - Disarmonia Mundi

When I first heard this album on its release, I was astonished (and disappointed) at how much it resembled Soilwork, only to find out later that primary vocalist Björn Strid growls and screams for both bands. The comparison doesn't end there though, and however progressive or technical this band claims to have been in the past, this is mechanical, synthetic melodic death metal of the same variety as 'Natural Born Chaos,' representing the less enviable strand of Gothenburg metal.
