Advantages: Great ablum, some catchy songs

Disadvantages: A few weak songs

So I have been reviewing some of my favourite albums recently. And I was thinking this is one of my current favourites so I better include it. I have been a fan of Linkin Park since the beginning. Have always liked their albums but they have never been good enough for me to think wow! Minutes to Midnight is! It's just has that little something extra for me! So as usual am going to through all the songs and let you know why I think they are so good.

1. Wake - Just a short intro which takes you into track 2 really. 8/10

2.Given Up - A fast paced typical Linkin Park offering. I do like this song but there is some strong language in it, which is unusual for Linkin Park. Still a very good song though. 8/10

3. Leave out all the rest- A slower song, not quite as good as some on the album. Still good in its own way though. 8/10

4. Bleed it Out - I love this song, is a great driving song! Has a real good rhythm to it and a strong beat! Gets stuck in your head very easily! 9/10

5. Shadow of the Day - Another slow song, but I really like this one. It just oozes conviction and meaning. A really good inclusion to the album. 9/10

6. What I've Done - Very well known song. Big guitar riffs and a pounding beat. This is a awesome song and was the first release off the album and it's not hard to see why Linkin Park wanted to put this out there! 10/10

7.Hands Held High - Quite an unusual song. Almost like a wrap song. Not bad, very powerful lyrics aimed at president Bush by the sound of it. Not quite doing it for me though. 7/10

8. N More Sorrow- Quite a loud song, not my favourite, one of the weaker efforts. 6/10

9. Valentine's Day- Brilliant song. I really like this one. Starts off quite slow and builds up. 9/10

10. In Between - Another song that is not quite good enough in my opinion. 6/10

11. In Pieces - Not bad, but again lacking the drive of earlier songs. 7/10

12. The Little things give you away- Quite a chilled out finish. Think the band has tried to make this sound really epic; it is a good song but does not quite reach the heights it threatens too. 8/10

Overall a very good album, some of the songs are what I would call weak, but overall it's well worth a listen. Would have to give it 8/10

Summary: Overall a really good offering!
