Advantages: Some great tracks, good experimentation

Ok first of all let me say which tracks I really liked off this album:

(2) Given up, a great rocking intro. Chester holds back and then lets loose. The instruments all work great together. The drumming is especially great.

(3) Leave out all the rest; this is one of the singles released off this album and is more of a ballad than one of their usual songs. Chester's vocals work really well as do the synth effects. The chorus is really good. Its one of those songs that will get stuck in your head.

(4) Bleed it out, this is the second single released off this album. The intro is great especially with Mike Shinoda's rapping. Chester's chorus vocals are repetitive but catchy. The song overall is very catchy.

(6) What I've done, probably the band's best known song, it was the first single released off the album with a striking video to match. It also features on Guitar Hero World Tour and in the credits for the first Transformers movie. This song is a bit more mainstream, there is no heavy screaming from Chester and no rapping from Mike.

(9) Valentines day, one of my definite favourites off this album. Most of it consists of Chester singing over a piano and then it roars into the main chorus, Chester's singing is the best on this track off this album.

This is the third album from Linkin Park. It is a bit different from the first two but that isn't always a bad thing. It has some great singles and is a must buy for any Linkin Park fan.

Summary: Good album which is available cheap!
