The introduction to “On a Day Like Today” reminds me very much of the Black Crowes’ “Diamond Ring”, but this track is mostly a disappointment compared to what has come before. Good production sound; improvement on studio versions; 'Asbury Park' improv. Some weak selections, and it's all far too short.

Progressive Rock - 2006

Rock chick attitude with a punchy gutsy vocal sound a couple of weaker tracks

Thunder's voice with a more mature influence Different enough from Thunder's sound that some Thunder fans might not like it

Amazingly catchy tunes The knowledge that the next album will be rubbish

Different from previous albums, Flawless Can't seem to find it in the UK (with DVD)Expensive!

You may be a fan of acoustic albums. Dull and repetitive, with weak material.

The Acoustic Adrian Belew Vol.2: Belewprints - Adrian Belew
Better material than the previous acoustic collection, and more variety. Not really an acoustic album, and suffers from a weird dichotomy.

The Age Of The Understatement - Last Shadow Puppets
More music for fans of the band members, decent album overall inconsistent, different to what you'd expect from the group

A fair overview of 'The Dream Sequencer,' if nothing else. Not Ayreon's strongest material.
