Advantages: Dreamy, soothing, relaxing

Disadvantages: Slighty monotonous

The whole album oozes this kind of relaxed coolness, start to finish. It gets me as closed to fully relaxed without dozing off as possibly. It is great music for travel programs, in particular tropical islands as it just has that vibe to it. "Remember" for example seems to have a Beach Boys sample there, with a Daft Punk-like vocal (not that it is but I just associate that sound with Daft Punk) looping over it.

However Talkie Walkie is more adventurous and colorful, and perhaps that is the biggest criticism; lack of adventure. Most of the tracks are quite similar, in every way. But in this genre, where repetition is a virtue, it still has more longevity than most other ambient albums.

That being said, what it does it does very well. Sexy Boy being the highlight of the album for me, though it deviates the most from all the other tracks. It is less relaxed, more danceable if you will while still retaining that same dreamy vibe, mostly through the vocals.

Summary: Great ambient album and excellent chill-out music.
