 ... out a year later, in fact the whole of this alum sounds like a slightly disjointed version of other Specials work. Hey Little, Rich Girl has a very tropical feel to it and unfortunately is more likely to be remembered for Amy Winehouse's cover of the song. I love the original though, the saxophone playing on it is particularly good, the vocals sound like a tamed Hugh Cornwell. Next up on my objective of reviewing the latest album of this year's Glastonbury Acts takes me to a more familiar band and an album that is far from new. More Specials was the 2nd release of The Specials and it included much more original work than their debut album, the re-released version of this 1980 album, released in 2007 has a very clean and clear sound as you would hope it would. Man at C& A sounds surprisingly similar to Ghost Town which came out a year later, in fact the whole of this alum sounds like a slightly disjointed version of other Specials work.
