Just short of classic (Movement In Still Life - BT)
Member Name: moleman
Advantages: Varied, very polished Disadvantages: Unfocussed
Actually released in 1999, this album is a slow burning groundbreaking masterpiece that impresses with every listen. Featuring collaborations with DJ Rap, Adam Freeland, Sasha, Paul Van Dyk and Hybrid, the US-based trance musician has produced a polished piece of work. The one and only problem is that it tries to cover too many bases. After a couple of breakbeat-y tracks (Ride, with Sasha, is a standout), he moves to more familair territory. Mercury And Solace is a poignant vocal trancer, while Dreaming has a more rave-y edge to it. The last track, Satellite is also very good, but more or a soft rock anthem than anything else. The only real disappointment is Godspeed, which sounds a little too much like BT's own classic Flaming June for comfort. Summary: |
