Mariah Carey Unplugged EP was one classic cd made, this is done during her show with MTV in the program entitled Unplugged. It was 1992, and that time she was still starting a career but she already had hits like Visions of Love, Emotions and the revival song I'll be there. Its a live performance with live bands and with back up singers.This cd is not the full length cd or the whole show cd, the songs here are already been picked, 7 songs, 28 minutes long. As one of Mariah's first major live gigs, this really proves how well she can sing live. Basically the whole concert is note perfect and is perfect for anyone already a fan of the songs sung, or someone who wants a mix of songs from the first two albums to listen to. Being MTV Unplugged, this is a short intimate half hour or so concert recorded with acoustic instruments only. Well supposed to be, but Mariah does have electric guitars used. This is a recording of an concert that Mariah did unplugged (only acoustic instruments). It is a great collection of Mariah's early stuff. It is a live performance but most of the time it is hard to tell the difference between live and recorded with Mariah. This shows true talent as there are not too many of today's singers that can sing all of their songs live. This is a great CD and can be found cheap in record stores.
