Beth Ditto s voice added to the catchy tunes on this album really make it stand out. Featuring the phenomenal hit and title track, Standing In The Way Of Control sometimes when there is one fantastic song on an album that everyone knows the rest of the songs can be disappointing. Standing in the Way of Control is the album that really put The G Gossip on the map. Although they have been around since 1999, they are not really classed as a massive band, even after the success of this, their 2006 album. I have very mixed feelings with this as you will find out below. Although I do enjoy most of it, it is the sort of album that could possibly cause many people to turn off before the end is reached.
