Advantages: Great album, very fluent.

Disadvantages: It's still just pop

First off I'm not huge into pop, especially of the type that is sang by girls, however theres something about Kelly Clarksons voice and melodies that I find irresistible, I guess it helps that she's nice to look at too.

My December was released in June 2007 and was Kelly's third solo album to date, she returns with her Raw emotional lyrics and tone to bevy her way through another 13 excellent tracks.

The first single she released was Never Again, some have described this is almost a sequel to Since You've Been Gone, given the similarities in her sentiment. She released another three singles from the album all fairing well in the singles chart . Sober and One Minute were both released on the same day in September and her final single was released around Christmas and was entitled "Don't waste your time".

Other good tracks include "Hole" "Be Still" and "Haunted" . The album flows well and is nicely paced.

I'd put the thumbs up for this album as I think theres something about this chick that's incredible real, her emotion comes through in both her voice and her lyrics and it's well worth picking up off the shelf.

Summary: A nice album put together by a fantastic young artist
