Karan Johar's films are renowned to have great music and this film is no exception. Music composers Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are at the helm of the affairs with Javed Akhtar writing the lyrics. As soon as the title track 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' starts, you know where it is headed-it belongs to the same league as all the title tracks of Karan Johar's films. The wonderfully written lyrics take centre stage with a simple yet haunting tune taking it ahead. This is a great album from DJ Yoda. If you don't know DJ Yoda then he is a very original DJ who doesn't put all his efforts into music with heavy bass kicks but rather produces some very original music and in the cases of his live music he also produces some pretty cool videos to go with them. Starting with the album cover, I think this is a startling representation of DJ Yoda's wit and just lets you know that this isn't going to be any ordinary album. When I spotted this album, I almost never picked it up. I already had the original soundtrack, so why would I need another one?! Glad I did though, what an amazing set of tunes! The reason I am writing this review is because I am listening to it right now, and the feel good factor is incredible. Let me tell you about the album... well, we have all seen the film, right?
