In this live album Jeff does some of his Grace songs, some covers and some songs that to my knoledge never got released as a studio recording.

Mystery white boy, the tours of 95-96 is a CD covering Jeffs unsatiable appetite for his own live music. He had a knack of never doing a song the same more than once, This is shown in effect by listening to his other live albums (such as "Live at sine").

Dream Brother, is a song he recorded for grace, and he belts out an extended version with a 2 min 30 second intro to such a buckley loved classic. 9/10

I woke up in a strange place is Jeff at his lyrical best, a song that like so many on the album, that should have been released as a single. 10/10

Mojo Pin is a song I was never a big fan of though Jeff's wailing desperation of sadness in his voice carries the song high than any other version I've heard, just as he allows his voice to hang and roll with the backing melody. 7/10

Lilac wine is a song that Nina Simone did many years before Jeff and to Nina's credit her version is slightly better than this version of Jeff's. Although not a disappointment, it's not my fave song on the CD.

What will you say, Now this is more like it, a heavy strong song in what seems like a personal song about his father (though it was in fact written by Jeff's friend Chris Dowd). You can feel the searing anger in Jeff's voice at parts, whilst in other be struck in awe at his versatile voice.10/10

Last goodbye, This is an angrier sounding version of his Grace classic, the anger in the music (although not his voice as such) lets the song seem to over-come it's own emotional stale mate as a longing fellow saying goodbye to his former love. 9/10

Eternal life, This is actually more like the later revised "Road version" (from grace's 10th anniversary box set). Jeff's voice is sounding so angry, you can almost touch the angst coming off every note he sings. His angst aimed at the music industry for their crusiade against on stage Jamming (as was seen in early versions of "Kanga-roo")/ 10/10

Grace, A more weeping version than the original as Jeff sings about longing for death. The notes of the guitar and Jeff's voice fit in almost a sychnosised fashion to allow us to hear such a wonderful song, though Jeff at times sounds like he's wanting to let his words cry. 9/10

Moodswing whiskey, A nice keeping up tempo sonic blast with a variation of soft and hard notes. Jeff's voice again sounding angry but yet with the grit it also sounds soft and pure. 8/10

The man that got away, the worst song on the album, seems out of place and too ballady compared to the rest. Although I'm sure many would argue it sets up the finale, and gives the album a time to take a breath, personally I feel like Jeff was just looking for filler. 5/10

Kanga-roo, Although not Jeff's longest version of this song, it's still a fair marathon at just shy of 10 and a half mins. The musical side of the song is supreme and sublimley put together with a soft but yet catchy set of lyrics. This song does what the previous song failed at, and allowed a breather to the break neck pace of the rest of the album. 9/10

Hallelujah/I Know It's Over (medley), Two classics in one, what more must we ask for? A combination of Jeff's most loved song (originally by Leonard Cohen) and a Smith's classic. This was the ideal song to finish the album, as Jeff's voice says much more than the words i type can possibly attempt to. 10/10

Summary: Brilliant live Buckley album, a must buy for all his fans
