There are some nice harmonies here and a bit of an acoustic feel to this track with the vocals, but it isn't actually an acoustic track as there is a quite generic backing track. ***God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You*** This is another slow track with good harmonies but the lyrics are a bit cheesy and this puts me off the track quite a lot. ***You Got It*** This is an up-tempo track that is catchy. ***I Need Love*** This is another fairly up-tempo track wit...more

Premium Review 'n Sync - 'N Sync: A pretty weak album in general (572 words)

Rating:

***Tearin' Up My Heart*** This is a fairly up-tempo pop number that is catchy. It is by far the best track on the album for me, although there are some other catchy pop tracks further on in the tracklisting. This track is typical N Sync material so if you are familiar with their quicker-paced songs, you will probably have a good idea of what to expect from this track. ***I Just Wanna Be With You*** This is a slower track than Tearin' Up My Heart but it is by no means a ballad and falls more into mid-tempo territory. There is quite a heavy backing track behind the vocals. ***Here We Go*** This is another up-tempo track but nothing ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Nsync - the start! (198 words)

Well, this is *N sync's first ever album (in the uk @ least). *N sync are not very popular in the Uk compared to the number of fans of the Backstreet Boys. This is becuase we never hear anything of them. I am a huge fan of *Nsync but here, they have never toured and very rarely do any premotional work. This is a real shame because if they made them self more known, i can guarantee that they would have loads of new fans!!!! i actually bought *N sync's 'No Strings Attatched' first and once i had heard it, i bought their first one hoping for the same great quality and i recieved it well and truely! I actually listen to this self titled album more ...  Read the complete review

Blow My Fuse - Kix
Fun lyrics, good guitar solos and riffs Overproduced, too many effects and a bit cheesy

Electric Wizard - Electric Wizard
Modern take on the classic doom sound. Few songs really stand out.

Let Us Prey - Electric Wizard
A little more accessible. This also means it's less definitive.

Griefshire - Elis
Creative gothic metal. Still relies on all the genre clichés.

Supercoven - Electric Wizard
Extreme stoner doom for the seriously stoned. Alienating.

Witchcult Today - Electric Wizard
Mind-meltingly heavy revival of early doom and psychedelic rock. Owes its sound to the past.

Come My Fanatics - Electric Wizard
Defines the modern doom sound, effective use of feedback techniques. A little lacking instrumentally.

Ix Equilibrium - Emperor
Original sound. Experiment isn't entirely successful.

Tetra Karcist - Enthroned
Good guitar work, and some hints towards better things. Rooted too much in the standard black metal sound.

Fatal Design - Entwine
Standard gothic metal for unadventurous HIM fans. Lacks individual character or memorability.
