Hed kandi deserve awards for their compilations. They're always bang on target, combining some of the best commercial tracks with some less well known amazing tunes. The third in their very popular disco kandi series, showcasing funky house and US garage, is no different, and if you're bored with hearing the same stuff over and over, you might do worse than listen to this. Lets face it, the compilation market is overloaded, and to find an album that is consistently fantastic is rare. it has some terrific tracks on it. The only problem with listening to this album is that so many of the numbers have been covered by other Artists that it is difficult to remember that these were the originals. (An exception to this is We Can Work It Out – Stevie Wonder, which of course was first a hit for The Beatles). Some of the tracks now seem unfamiliar and it would not be fair to say that everyone is a great track. I have never been a fan of the Jackson Five so there are two tracks that I will never like.
