This is the CD I stick on when I get home from work. There isn't one poor offering on this 16 track "Best of ..." album, from the samba rhythms of Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard to the familiar 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover and the haunting Slip Slidin Away. The last two tracks are my favourites, Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes where Simon's voice is perfectly complemented by the rich tones of Ladysmith Black Mambazo and who could forget You Can Call Me Al with its nonsense lyrics and hilarious video with Chevy Chase. ...  Read the complete review

What an incredible artist he was. From his debut as a member in the astoundingly talented duo with Art Garfunkel, to his solo career, Paul never let us down. He continued to deliver some of the most ingenius song lyrics ever written, along with a wonderfully pleasent and unique sound both vocally and instrumentally. He was undeniably a multi-talented, and highly respected musician. I can never get enough of that creative folk sound in one of my all-time favorite albums entitled "Negotiations and Love Songs."
