 ... Its all rushed and fast paced up until a small interlude, with a repetitive Hoppus chorus of "I'm just a bastard child, don't let it go to your head. I'll just be wasting your time, maybe I'm better off dead" and closing with "So let me go-go I'd rather go it alone/ I'm never coming home". After the first song its a delight to hear a in house sound. The lead single is 3rd song 'Up All Night' which is a good representation of the album so if you can't stand it, best leave this alone. 2003 saw quite a change in Californian pop rock trio Blink 182, with far serious lyrical content, saddening moods and grittier, substantial songwriting compared to several previous efforts. This metamorphosis however seemed to spell the end for the band, with tensions rising due to varying opinions and genre conflicts. They were no longer 20 somethings singing about breakups, living it up at parties, step father blow-jobs, sodomising dogs and ejaculating into socks. Those immature days are long gone as the 3 of them became fathers and went their separate ways.
