Apt title (Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols - Sex Pistols)

Advantages: Daring album Disadvantages: Now no more than heavy rock 'n' roll
You can see how this offended people when it first came out, but listening to it now, Never Mind The Bo**ocks is nothing more than a heavy rock ‘n’ roll album with some catchy numbers. Songs such as “Anarchy In The UK” and “God Save The Queen” (not the anthem) are known by everyone and considering this was the only studio album (their greatest hits was aptly titled “Flogging A Dead Horse”) they produced, they’ve managed to live well off it. If anything however, the luminous yellow and pink cover is more famous than the album itself. If you like this, then watch the excellent Julian Temple documentary “The Filth And The Fury” which is the most informative film about the band available. Summary: |
