Premium Review New Year's Eve 1976 - Elvis Presley: Happy new year from the king!! (443 words)

Elvis fans must love the Elvis Presley specialist label FTD, I know I do anyway. The reason being that although Elvis is sadly no longer with us so we knew we had no new material to come they gave some of his old material a new more modern overdub and brought the king back to life. As well as their overdubs they also released some of the kings finest live recordings from the 70`s. This particular " disc set documents the amazing new years eve performance of 1976 that took place in Pittsburgh Tennessee and it has some of Elvis`s best tracks on it. This particular release is a 2 disc set documenting the performance on New Years Eve 1976 in Pittsburgh. Unlike the other ...  Read the complete review

Excellent musicianship and songwriting. Thought provoking lyrics. Strong Christian message may put off those not "in faith". A little samey.

Good voice, some good songs A bit too slow for me at times

High production values, the funny tracks are funny and the serious ones serious. May be obscure for some people, Shatners spoken word style can be strange

Great mix of songs shows more of his vocal ability Last song is depressing

Weird to say the least Some may not like the humour, Distasteful in places
